Urbanism of Paris

Paris really feels like peak urbanism — a city and transit system designed for everyone, not just commuters. Even during off-peak hours and weekends, trains and buses run every 3–5 minutes. The layout is also insanely well-designed, thanks to Haussmann. Green spaces are everywhere, streets and aves interweave which is far more interesting to explore on foot/bike compared to cities on a grid. The buildings all share that iconic zinc roof, brings uniformly to the skyline.
